Happy Valentines Day! This was a really fun photoshoot to put together. You can find all the props that I used below. You can also read all about the tips that helped create this Valentine photoshoot!
Even before I had kids I knew I wanted to be able to take my own pictures at home. I didn’t want to have to spend money each time I wanted a nice photo. I bought a camera and with the help of my cousin we were able to take all there pictures at home. I’m so glad I’ll always have these memories!
Pinterest is a great search engine and I get a lot of my ideas from there. There has been so many times I’ve clicked on a pin and they don’t tell me where they got their props. So I want to try and include everything I used and what helped to make these photos. I hope that others can have fun and recreate their own themed picture at home!
I get most of my props from the Dollar Tree. I try and have an idea of what I’m going to do for the backdrop before I go. It makes it a little easier when picking out props when you know what you want to do. The cupid costume was from Party City.
The white backdrop was very helpful because I could stick the props right on there. The small hearts were actually stickers so that made it easy. I just used scotch tape to get the big hearts to stay on. They all came off very easily after the photoshoot. The link to my backdrop stand and sheet are below.

Make sure the lipstick is easily removable. I used a cheap Walgreens lipstick and it wouldn’t come off. I ended up using coconut oil to remove the last bit of it. So make sure to test the lipstick on your hand and wash it off before you kiss your baby! 🙂
It helps to have someone hold your babies arms when you are putting the lipstick on. Marshal kept moving his arms and rubbing some of the kisses off. He thought it was a fun game and was giggling the whole time. It was so cute!
The pictures turned out so cute! I’m glad I’ll have these to look back on their very first Valentines Day! I hope that my tips will help you be able to recreate this adorable baby photoshoot as well!
