⚠️flash ⚠️ I made this so long ago and debated never sharing, but I realized if I never shared this side of grief you would never know. I was up at my family cabin when it started to snow. I was alone that weekend with no kids. I went outside and it was so quiet and beautiful, I just sat in the falling snow. I try to keep myself as busy as possible to avoid my reality and the pain. For this quiet moment I had allowed myself to stop and let the pain in. I try so hard to push through the grief, but honestly I’m always screaming on the inside. Anger…sadness…loneliness…my reality. If I didn’t talk about it you probably would never know the pain and sadness I feel inside. How hard it is to breath. How hard it is to wake up. How hard it was to decide to live and keep going. I try so hard to “be ok” for my kids. But it’s important to know the darker side of grief #griefandloss #grief

Annie’s Mac and Cheese is a favorite in our home

Annie’s Mac and Cheese is a favorite in our home. Not only do my boys love eating it, they love helping me make it! It’s now become such a fun thing that we all do together and I love that they are starting to learn some cooking skills.

I love that Annie’s has all organic ingredients and no artificial flavors. Makes me a happy mom because it's such a tasty fast meal for my kids!

Memories and places can be so painful! A reminder of the life we use to have together. The life that was taken from us. Grief is so painful and never leaves us. One day we could be so happy and then a memory pops up in our minds. We never know when grief will come.
