Lego Birthday Decorations
My twin boys are absolutely obsessed with LEGO, so it was a no-brainer to make it the theme of their birthday bash! I wanted to create a party that would make them feel like they were living in their own LEGO world. So, I went all out with decorations, turning our place into a colorful LEGO wonderland. From handmade banners to tables decked out with LEGO building stations, I made sure every corner was bursting with brick-tastic fun! Here’s how I brought their LEGO dreams to life for their big day!
Lego Birthday Banners
I made these birthday banners for my boys LEGO birthday decorations. You can print the free templates below for your kids party. With the Happy Birthday banner I printed them, cut them, and glued them to red card stock. You can use curling ribbon to hang them up on the back drop. For the Lego mini-figure banner I used my Silhouette machine to cut them out on different colored card stock. I also hung them up using curling ribbon. I adore how they enhanced the food display and made it even more enjoyable!

Print Lego Mini-figure for backdrop
Feel free to download and use my templates for your LEGO birthday decorations. I added my boys names to the LEGO mini-figure and taped it to the backdrop. If you want to add your own child’s name feel free to use my template below so you can edit it. (you will need a free Canva account to edit) I used this Lego font generator to make their names in the Lego font.
DIY LEGO Bricks
It was so fun to make these big LEGO bricks for the food display table. I saved up old boxes and bought colored bulletin board paper to wrap them to look like legos. I used a hot glue gun and paper to make the circles on the front. Link to supplies below so you can make your own. I was also able to use these box bricks for their LEGO themed birthday photoshoot and it turned out so cute.

Backdrop Paper Lego Bricks
I used black bulletin board paper and taped it to the wall behind the table. I then taped my home made paper legos to the backdrop.
How to make them:
I crafted these paper bricks using colored poster boards from the Dollar store. The square dimensions measure 9-3/4″ by 9-3/4″, while the rectangle dimensions are 19-1/2″ by 9-3/4″. I ensured a plentiful supply by utilizing various colors of poster board.
To add detail, I repurposed leftover poster board to create circles, each measuring 3 inches by 3 inches, which I affixed to the front of the paper bricks. Utilizing my Silhouette machine ensured the circles were perfectly cut. To achieve a 3D effect, I glued cardboard between the circles and the paper bricks.
Number Balloon Frame
I got this number 6 balloon frame for their birthday party. It was a great addition to their Lego themed Birthday party.
Food Table Link
For my food table I use a foldable table with a black tablecloth. I love when the tablecloth goes all the way to the floor. It looks more professional and nicer that way. I put the food table as part of the decoration blog post because it is the main focus of the party decoration.

Lego Creations
You can’t have a Lego birthday party without Legos. I told my boys to start making some of their favorite Lego sets to put out on display for the party. We had so much fun making Legos in the shape of the number 6. It just adds to the fun!

Concession Cart
This adorable concession cart is the perfect addition to any party. I used it to display the kids Lego Party favors for friends, but I think it added to the decorations. I got this Lego poster on Etsy years ago and it’s not longer available.
How to save time with cutting
I finally decided to get the Silhouette Cameo 4 and it was the best decision I made before planning this party. It saved me hours and hours of cutting out all my templates. I downloaded the designs and then uploaded them into the Silhouette program and the machine cut it out within seconds.
